Started at a very young age with a gun in my hand. Started with a Red Ryder, then a Crosman Pump, to a .410 Pump, 20 Gauge Pump, to a Browning Superposed Lightning Grade 12 Gauge. I still have that Lightning Grade Superposed. Learned to hunt rabbit, pheasant, and dove with all of them. When hunting season was not in, I was out there shooting black birds as they flew over the property.

Early Years

Teenage Years

By the time I was 12 years old, I was riding my bike 2 miles to Lakeland Conservation Club just outside of Stony Ridge, Ohio every Sunday. I was the kid down in the trap house putting targets on the machine one at a time. I was paid 1/8 of a Cent per target thrown. I would make around $5 every Sunday and thought I was rich. At 15 I started shooting instead of working. My High School had a Trap Shooting Team back then and I was fortunate enough to be a part of it. Continued shooting until I got married. Like most life happens.

2015 found me in Texas for work. My Wife and Kids were back in Tennessee/Alabama. Traveling home on weekends was not an option. Being there had me bored when I wasn't working. I was looking for something to do, so I got out the old Browning Superposed and found a small gun club in Paris, Texas. Started shooting there on Sundays. Came back to Tennessee in 2016 and shot my first registered NSCA Tournament. Presently I am a NSCA Level II Instructor, Master Class, and have over 50,000 registered targets behind me. I still love to wing shoot and try to do it whenever work and life allow. I wouldn't be where I am today without the support of my beautiful wife "Jules".
